The seminar was organized in collaboration with Jean Muller GmbH, Germany, an international supplier of HRC-Fuses and Fuse-Switch Disconnectors. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Bernhard Muller, CEO of Jean Muller GmbH. The workshop was inaugurated by Hassan Ali Salman, Chairman of Al Hassan Group who emphasized that in today’s fast-pace life, constant upgradation of knowledge is a must. He emphasized that Al Hassan gave a lot of importance to Quality. That’s why Al Hassan is an ISO 9001:2000 accredited company for the last six years, thereby ensuring acceptance in global market. Al Hassan Switchgear is the first Omani company to have a KEMA KEUR certificate for its products. He explained that Al Hassan’s competitive strategy has been always in bringing latest technology into Oman. He also shared with the audience that Al Hassan has developed products based on web technology in line with future trends. Al Hassan’s extensive product validation includes performance in extreme climatic conditions, especially the hot weather of the Gulf region. Al Hassan Switchgear products are hence the preferred choice for several prestigious and critical applications in the region and has supplied more than 1000 such panels in the most prestigious projects of Oman. Al Hassan Switchgear is by far the leader in Oman with 65% market share with 60% of its production being exported to AGCC countries. He stressed that Al Hassan as a market leader is alive to continuously keep its customers updated about the recent developments in the ever-changing technology landscape and the technical seminar was a step in the same direction. Dr Muller recounted interesting case studies and facts which made the whole seminar highly interactive. Al Hassan Switchgear Manufacturing Co. LLC, the manufacturing arm of the Al Hassan Group of Companies, organized a technical workshop on “Fuse and Breaker Technology” at Grand Hyatt recently. Sixty consultants, engineers, contractors and end users attended the Seminar.
