Al Hassan Group holds Talent Appreciation Award Ceremony (08 Sep 2013)
Al Hassan Group held a Talent appreciation award ceremony to formally recognize and reward employees
The awards were presented by Mr. Ali Maqbool, Director, Manufacturing & Trading, Al Hassan Manufacturing & Trading division in the presence of the senior management team. The opening address was presented by Mr. Shahzad Sadan, GM-Organizational Development, who spoke about various employee engagement activities at the Group and subsequently announced the awardees and their contributions. This time the awards recognized the winners of the In-house Table Tennis tournament, Al Multaqa Newsletter Quiz Contest winners and accomplishments of members of Al Hassan’s Toastmasters Club. The accomplishments of Toastmasters included Competent Communicator, Competent Leader and Advanced Leader recognition by Toastmasters International.
The Al Hassan Toastmasters Club was set up to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Mr. Shahzad said "Al Hassan believes in healthy engagement activities to inculcate the culture of employees participation and overall development. The overwhelming response from our employees makes our workplace vibrant and stimulating."
