Al Hassan Switchgear holds Annual Staff Function (01 Mar 09)

The annual function for all staff members of Al Hassan Switchgear Manufacturing Co. LLC was held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Al Massa Hall, Ruwi. The annual staff function is a traditional platform where all the staff members get together which promotes the family spirit among the staff. During the function, a number of expatriate as well as Omani employees were given long service awards for such of those employees who have completed 10 and 15 years of services.

Beside Al Hassan’s Chairman, Mr Hassan Ali Salman, MD, Mr Maqbool Ali Salman, many senior figures of the executive management including the CEO, Eng. Talal Al Assaad and the General Manager, Mr Narayana Sudarsan also graced the occasion.

Mr Hassan Ali Salman welcomed the audience and lauded the staff on their excellent performance and thanked them for their dedicated services to Al Hassan’s customers. The Chairman also announced a handsome bonus to all its staff as a reward for their excellent performance.

Mr Maqbool Ali Salman encouraged all the employees to think creatively and help in developing innovative solutions. He particularly pointed out that Creativity and Innovation are not domain or position specific. He complimented the Al Hassan Switchgear team on successful development of Intelligent Distribution Boards.

Eng. Talal exhorted all the employees to continue their hard work and put more efforts in maintaining the leadership position which Al Hassan Switchgear enjoys today in the country. He emphasized the need to continue to deliver its core message as the number one Switchgear manufacturer in the Sultanate in terms of various areas, mainly the quality and customer service.

The staff expressed their delight for this joyful annual party during which they get to interact and meet face to face with the senior management. The employees appreciated Corporate Management’s efforts to enhance the sense of belongingness to the organization.

A draw of lots was conducted and dozens of prizes were given to the winners. At the end of the party, Mr Sudarsan, General Manager thanked the Corporate Management for its support. He also expressed his gratitude to all the staff and called on them to further enhance the services they render to the factory’s customers.
