Al Hassan Engineering Co. achieves 2Million LTI Free man-hours at the OOCEP Gas & Condensate Export Pipelines Project in Abutubul Block-60. (22 May 2014)
Al Hassan Engineering Company SAOG (AHEC) Oman’s leading EPC Contractor added one more feather to its cap recently with the achievement of 2Million LTI Free man-hours at the OOCEP Gas & Condensate Export Pipelines Project in Abutubul Block-60. To mark the milestone OOCEP and AHEC team organised a safety ceremony at Project Site Camp that was graced by Senior Officials of OOCEP.
In Sept.2012, AHEC was awarded the project for the Engineering Support, Construction, Installation, Inspection, Testing, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning assistance of 2Nos Export Pipelines of 85Km each from Abu Tubul field , located in Oman Block-60 about 100Km west of Saih Rawl to Barik plus Associated Metering Station and other facilities. The terrain is Gravel Plain, approximately 50% of route is covered with Sand dunes. Some of the dunes are more than 100Mtrs high. Completion of this project is Crucial as the Sales Gas and Stabilised Condensate Produced from Gas Process Plant is treated at GPP is exported through the Pipelines to OGC SGL and PDO MOL.
OOCEP Project Manager, Mr. Charlie Fanshawe, Present in Celebrations at site congratulated the OOCEP-AHEC team and appreciated AHEC team for their committed efforts towards this fabulous achievement. He has also mentioned that, we have more challenges ahead and he is Confident that AHEC will deliver and complete the Project as Scheduled with High HSE and Quality Standards.
