Al Hassan Engineering receives OER Top 20 Award for third consecutive year (15 December 2011)

Al Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG (AHEC), Oman’s leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor has been recognized for its continued outstanding business performance by the prestigious Oman Economic Review (OER) Top 20 Awards - an annual ranking list for Oman’s largest listed Companies.

The award was received by Mr. Hassan bin Ali Salman, Chairman - AHEC from Abdulla bin Salem Al Salmi, Acting Executive President of CMA in presence of H.H. Sayyid Tarik bin Shihab Al Said, Editor-in-Chief of OER at a business debate held at Al Bustan Hotel.

Mr. Hassan bin Ali Salman commented, "We are proud to receive this award for the third consecutive year as this recognizes the success of our business performance. This award is a testament to our continued success in our role as active contributors to the local economy and a partner in nation building."

Mr. Salman added, "Today, we have been recognized for the attributes that form the foundation of AHEC as a progressive, young, energetic Omani company. Since our first major award in 2006, AHEC has witnessed sustained growth in a number of areas of operation including expansion in the UAE region."

Over last three decades, AHEC an ISO 9001:2008 certified company has established an excellent track record of being a prime EPC contractor and construction partner in executing complex projects in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Infrastructure and Water and Wastewater Treatment sectors.

In Oman, AHEC is currently undertaking a number of significant nation-building projects such as Zauliyah Gas Compression Project for PDO, Kauther Compression Project for PDO / Petrofac, Saih Nihayda Depletion Compression Project for PDO/GS E&C, Amal Power Plant Project for PDO, Long Term Power Supply Project for Occidental Mukhaizna, Civil & Building Works for Barka-3 IPP and A’Seeb Sewage Treatment Plant for Haya Water/Hyundai Rotem. In the UAE, AHEC is currently executing Civil works for a 400 kV Grid Sub-station for Siemens in Shuwaihat, Civil & Building Works for Asab-3 Gas Project for GASCO/Technip and Upgradation & Rehabiltation of Buhasa Sewage Network for GASCO in Abu Dhabi.
