Addressing the new recruits during the inauguration of the training programme, Peter Hall, AHEC's Chief Executive Officer said, "AHEC is a performance driven organisation and it is necessary that our people are equipped with the functional skills they require to perform their jobs well. It is also important for all of you to understand and imbibe the AHEC's culture and values. Qualitative Omanisation and intensive training are our focal points for employee development within AHEC."

The training program has been designed to ensure that all the new employees get a firm grounding in contracting basics as well as orientation with various functions like HSE, Quality, Procurement, etc. In order to build familiarity with its ongoing projects, all the graduates have undergone site visits to some of the on-going projects including Salalah Methanol, Nimr-C Full Field Water Injection Facilities and Seeb Sewage Treatment Plant.

After completion of the training program, the graduates will be absorbed into various functions of the organization like Project Management, Planning, Procurement, etc.

It is important to remember that businesses do not make decisions; businesses do not close deals or find new efficient strategies - people do! We empower our people to drive our business forward and face challenges head-on. Our staff has always been an integral part of the extended Al Hassan family and will continue to be so in the future."
