Al Hassan Engineering Co’s Safi ur Rahman named 'Engineer of the Year' at third Construction Week Oman awards (20 Mar 2014)
Al Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG (AHEC), Oman's leading Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) recently announced that Mr. Safi ur Rahman - Engineer' Civil & Water Business Stream, has won the prestigious 'Engineer of the year' award at the third Construction Week Oman awards. The awards were presented at a gala event held at Hotel Grand Hyatt Muscat that recognizes the very best of Oman’s Construction industry. Safi collected his award, in the presence of senior officials from the Government and private sectors, and leaders of relevant industry bodies.
Safi ur Rahman has been recognized for his overall contribution to Al Hassan Engineering with regards to the roles played in different projects and has been praised for his demonstration of technical ability, commitment to the company and for excellent relationship management skills with customer and colleagues.
Commenting on the award, Dr.Fahd Bakour, CEO-AHEC said, "Safi has proved his skills time and again in various projects that he has been involved with, primary among them has been the Saih Nihayda Depletion Compression (SNDC) project for PDO where he has been a key resource in project planning, execution and knowledge transfer. I am happy that his contribution has been recognized at a prestigious platform like Construction Week and this award truly stands testimony to the level of expertise of Al Hassan's employees. Al Hassan Engineering was also shortlisted among other categories like- Contractor of the year, Sustainable Project and CSR project of the year.
