AHEC participation in Bank Muscat Investors Conference evokes good response (3 March 2010)

Al Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG (AHEC) recently participated in the Bank Muscat Brokerage Investors Conference on 1-2 March 2010 held at Al Bandar Hotel, Bar Al Jissah. AHEC team was represented by Mr. Abbas Muljiani, GM – Finance & IT; Mr. R. Gangadharan, Head – Finance (Contracting) and Mr. Prashant Kutaula, Manager – Corporate Communication.

The AHEC team met many overseas investors including Beltone, GLG Partners, ING Investment, Ajlan Sons Investment Co., NBK Capital, Esterad, NBAD, SICO, Global Investment House and many local investors including MoD Pension Fund, Kitara Capital, Public Authority for Social Insurance, Al Hosn, ONIC, State General Reserve Fund, Bank Muscat Asset Management, Sharqiya Investment Fund, National Investment Funds Co., Middle East Investments.

All the investors were first shown AHEC film. Later, the AHEC team had one-to-one meetings with all the investors for approx. 30 minutes. Some of the common questions related to order backlog, future business projections, international competition, strengths of AHEC, etc.

All the investors which included existing shareholders, were quite upbeat about meeting AHEC and thanked the AHEC team for answering the queries.
