In Feb. 2010, Vincotte International Ltd conducted the successful certification audit on all premises of AHEC-AUH and accredited to ISO 9001:2008. "We are proud to have obtained such a prestigious designation," said Peter Hall, CEO - AHEC. "ISO 9001 is the most recognized & acceptable standard for Quality Management System in the world and serves as confirmation that our quality programme is among the best in the industry. We believe in continual improvement of company processes to achieve satisfaction of all stake holders by meeting and exceeding their requirements." AHEC has to its credit, a range of welding qualifications for Carbon Steel (CS), Duplex Stainless Steel (DSS), Stainless Steel (SS), HDPE Fusion Butt welding, Aluminium welding, Alloy steel welding (P11, P22, P91, etc.), Dis-similar materials welding, Hot Tapping, Hydrotesting, GRE Jointing and an excellent track record for its quality achievements. In Sept. 2008, AHEC obtained the coveted ASME "U" and "S" stamps for its fabrication works at Muscat. The ASME "S" Stamp is for the manufacture and Assembly of Power Boilers while the ASME "U" Stamp is for the manufacture of Pressure Vessels. Mr. Hall added, "The certification to ISO 9001:2008 quality standards is a reiteration of AHEC's commitment to continual improvement; a link towards excellence."  |

SAOG (AHEC) has recently achieved certification for its Quality Management System to the latest version of ISO 9001:2008. "ISO 9001" is a series of standards describing the requirements for establishing and maintaining a quality management system in an organization.
