Al Hassan Switchgear Stall evokes good response at ADIPEC 2008 (17 Nov 08)

Al Hassan Switchgear Manufacturing Company LLC, the manufacturing arm of Al Hassan Group of Companies recently took part at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2008. ADIPEC is one of the largest oil and gas events in the Middle East and was staged at the brand new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. At the four day petroleum exhibition, Al Hassan gathered with major oil producing companies from over 80 countries to promote its products, ideas and services.

“ADIPEC is an excellent opportunity to showcase the Al Hassan Switchgear product range which are built as per stringent Oil and Gas industry requirements,” said, Maqbool Ali Salman, Managing Director of Al Hassan Group of Companies. “It provides an opportunity for Al Hassan team to meet and exchange views with leaders of the petroleum industry, current customers, future prospective clients, international EPC contractors and technology suppliers, producers and exploration companies, government agencies and quasi-government.”

He stressed that Al Hassan’s participation in ADIPEC is in line with its strategy of being a dominant AGCC wide player in the Switchgear Industry. Al Hassan Switchgear is by far the leader in Oman with 65% market share and 60% of its production is exported to AGCC countries, with UAE accounting for 30%. In fact, Al Hassan is coming up with a new facility at Buraimi near Oman-UAE border to meet the growing demand of its UAE based customers.

He further commented that participation in such a large-scale exhibition provides a good platform for Al Hassan Switchgear to display its keenness to enhance its position within the oil and gas segment of the switchgear market. He expressed confidence about the long-term demand for Al Hassan’s Low Voltage as well as Medium Voltage Switchgear products, Control and Relay Panels in the AGCC. He also expressed delight at the continued interest in Al Hassan’s specially developed products based on web technology for the oil and gas industry in line with future trends. The Al Hassan stall evoked good response on all four days and a large number of enquiries have been generated for the LV and MV switchgear products.
