Al Hassan Group celebrates the joyous return of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to Oman (12 Apr 2015)
The Al Hassan Group of Companies recently got together in joyful celebrations to mark the return of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to Oman. In celebrations that lasted for over a week, Al Hassan’s offices in Oman and Abu Dhabi were dressed up in patriotic colours and the photos of His Majesty adorned every corner of the buildings in what became a beautiful display of patriotism. Various company-wide events were organized to mark the celebrations. Heartfelt messages wishing His Majesty a prosperous long life were put up on banners adorning the facades of the offices giving them a beautiful festive look.
The celebrations started with a prayer session for His Majesty's long life and good health and was followed by the distribution of traditional Omani Sweets to all the staff. Mr. Maqbool Ali Salman, Managing Director of the Group addressed a gathering of employees praising the sheer patriotism on display and expressed gratitude to The Almighty for His Majesty’s safe return. He said, "Today we are celebrating the joyful return of an inspirational leader who transformed the country to a tranquil, safe and stable nation. We can only call on the Almighty Allah, to grant persistent health and wellness to our leader. On this very positive note, we at Al Hassan embark on another year of successful stewardship of His Majesty towards the all-round development of this blessed nation."
A Quiz competition based on the life and times of His Majesty and a cake-cutting ceremony were also organised to mark the celebrations.
