With a 5000 strong, well-motivated multi-national work force, AHEC is one of the largest private sector employers in Oman. AHEC’s workforce is well-trained and highly skilled and competent to meet the demanding work requirements. They have the experience of working in the most difficult working conditions. The Engineers and Managers are among the best with rich experience and knowledge. One of the achievements in the Human Resources initiative of AHEC is its Omanisation Programme for which it has been awarded the Green Card facility. This enables AHEC in expeditious mobilization of large number of expatriate manpower for its various projects.

Plant & Equipment

One of the key attributes of any construction company is its ability to mobilize plant & construction equipment at short notice. AHEC owns construction plant & equipment that covers range of activities in civil, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation works.

The asset base of AHEC includes vehicles, plant and equipment, concreting equipment and stationary equipment.

AHEC has an extensive fleet of vehicles comprising cars, pick-ups, light vehicles, buses, heavy vehicles like water tankers, fuel tankers, sewage tankers, brackish water tankers, low-bed and flat-bed trailers and tipper trucks.

AHEC has a wide array of Plant and Equipment comprising 25-200 ton mobile cranes, excavators, back hoes, graders, shovels, pipe layers, bucket trucks and forklifts.

AHEC has a wide range of Civil Construction equipment comprising of concrete batching plants, transit mixers, cement bulkers, chilling plants and concrete pumps.

AHEC has many types of stationary equipment including pole rigs, earth rigs, pipe bending machines, compacters, rollers, air compressors, gensets, welding generators and lighting towers.

Camp Facilities

Ever since AHEC commenced its operations, it has worked in remote areas far from towns and villages having demanding desert conditions. Over the years, AHEC has developed and honed its mobilization strategies such that now it is possible to set up camps at distant locations at a short notice. Recognizing that much of its success depends on the contentment of its people, AHEC ensures that these facilities provide "A Home away from Home".

AHEC has well maintained camps in line with HSE guidelines with a primary objective of providing healthy living environment to its employees. The catering and laundry services at Camps are handled by a professional catering company. The camps have prayer rooms and adequate indoor and outdoor recreational facilities that includes TV rooms, Gymnasium, Table Tennis, Carrom Board, etc.
