HSEAl Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG (AHEC) has won a number of awards in recognition of its continuous excellent HSE performance from its clients and international EPC contractors. HSE Awards from PDO, GS Engineering & Construction, Hyundai Rotem, Alstom and Oxy are highlighted below for quick reference. PDOIn 2009, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) conducted "Letter of Assurance", HSE Audits on selected contractors including AHEC. AHEC has achieved "Excellent" rating from PDO. On PDO projects, AHEC's record has been better than PDO + PDO's other contractors as shown under.

This milestone was celebrated by an awards presentation from the client Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). The plaque and certificate were received by Mr Hassan Ali Salman, Chairman, AHEC from Mr. Said Al Asmi, PDO Contract Holder in presence of PDO officials and the senior management of the Al Hassan Group. Letter of Appreciation for Burhan West and Harmal Pipelines Project for completing project 4 months ahead of scheduleAt the request of client (PDO), AHEC expedited the important gas related project and rescheduled the "already fast-track" project activities so as to achieve record completion 4 months ahead of original schedule with very high HSE, Journey Management and Quality standards. What makes this achievement even more significant is the fact that this is the first PDO Project to include a 33 kV Overhead Line using Concrete Poles (instead of usual wooden poles). AHEC added another illustrious feather to its cap with the completion of 10 million man-hours Lost Time Incident (LTI) Free for Sohar Aromatics Project. This health & safety milestone was celebrated by an awards presentation at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sohar in Nov. 2009. The plaque and certificate were received by Mr Hassan Ali Salman, Chairman, AHEC in presence of Mr. Y.Y. Bilal, CEO of Aromatics Oman Limited, senior officials of GS Engineering & Construction and the senior management of the Al Hassan Group. Certificate of Appreciation from GS E&C for Sohar Aromatics ProjectIn Nov. 2009, AHEC received a Letter of Appreciation from GS Engg. & Construction, Korea for successfully executing the General Construction Works for the Sohar Aromatics Project. With Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) being seen as a top priority by leading corporations here and around the world, Al Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG (AHEC) celebrated the outstanding accomplishment of 2-million man-hours without Lost Time Injury for Nimr-C Full Field Water Injection Project with an award ceremony, at the Grand Hyatt in Oct. 2009. 
AHEC has executed a number of projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power and Water sectors without any lost time incidents (LTIs).
