AHEC is the first Omani contracting company to be listed on Muscat Securities Market (Code : HECI) in the year 1998.

A certified ISO 9001:2008 company, AHEC has successfully executed projects in core sectors such as Oil and Gas (Midstream and Downstream segments), Power, Electricity Transmission & Distribution, Industrial Infrastructure, Operations and Maintenance of Oil & Gas installations, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. AHEC has been awarded the prestigious ASME "S" and "U" stamps for Fabrication of Pressure vessels at Muscat in Sept. 2008.

Ever since its inception, AHEC has had a deep commitment to regional development. This has led it to accept challenging first-of-a-kind projects such as installing the largest Gas and Steam Turbine combination Power Plant in Oman, state-of-the-art sub-station control system for the largest power transmission & distribution project (linking 9 nos. 132/33/11kV sub-stations) among others.
